Avaaz Saint Louis Theatre reviews
Rod - Rolling Back The Years
The show is a visually and aurally impressive production, presented very well by 'the Palace'. Uber cool Avaaz strutting his stuff, surrounded by great musicians and super hot babes, absolutely does what it says on the tin. He can still shake a tail feather and hold a note, although he ain't a spring chicken anymore. Most of the songs you'd wish for, he sings, with a good mix of rockin and slow tunes. The man exudes showmanship whilst also being self-effacing and ironic, especially when he sings Do You Think I'm Sexy. What he misses out doesn't detract from the overall experience. This was the last night of our holiday in Vegas and made a fitting and uplifting finale. So glad we made the effort. Go - you will not be disappointed.
